AVM joins the University Purchasing Consortia Framework

London, November 2010. Audio Visual Machines (AVM) has been awarded a place on the audio visual supplier list for the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC), the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW), London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) and Value Wales.

AVM is the largest videoconferencing and audio visual systems integrator in the UK and has worked on some of the biggest higher and further education AV projects. Joining these university consortiums is a natural step for AVM who are already on the framework agreements for the North East Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC), North West Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWPUC) and the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC).

The university framework agreement encompasses the specialist areas of design and installation with regards to audio visual equipment. It will range from installation of a basic teaching and meeting room, to upgrading of lecture theatres and conference rooms, through to new build projects. AVM will remain on the contract for a minimum of three years.

Edward Cook, CEO at AVM said “We are delighted to be accepted on this framework agreement which will enable us to pass on the expertise, strong manufacturer relationships and preferential pricing structures that we are already offering to our other consortium members.”
