Commenting on his new appointment, Sir Robert said, ‘Having served as a trustee since 2010, I am delighted to be able to carry on the fine work of Sir Henry Beverley in the role of President. Corps Security’s prestigious history is a source of great pride to all who work for the organisation and we will continue to ensure that dedication, integrity and the pursuit of excellence is at the heart of what we do.’

Having served as Commandant General of the Royal Marines between 1990-94, Sir Henry joined Corps Security in 1996. He said, ‘The last 15 years have been an exciting time for all at Corps Security and I take great satisfaction in leaving it in such a healthy position.’

Corps Security’s chief executive, Peter Webster, concluded, ‘It has been our immense privilege to have Sir Henry as our President and I would like to thank him for his work during his tenure.
