ICTS Has Been Re-Appointed Official Explosive Security Search Dog Providers For DSEi 2011

DSEi

Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEi), the world’s largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition, has once again appointed the Canine Division of ICTS UK Ltd to supply explosive-search advisers and dogs throughout the four day show at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre. Specialist services will be provided both during show, which commences on Tues 13 September 2010, and the build-up.

Comments Josh Stevens, Head of Security, Clarion Events Ltd, “ICTS will be fully operational at DSEi 2011, providing all defensive canine searches as part of the overall event security plan. We have chosen ICTS as the official canine search capability providers because they work to ACPO standards and have shown a high level of professionalism throughout the event planning process, as well as effective on-site deployment during previous events. ICTS is widely recognised as leaders in their field, with specific experienced in our arena, delivering similar services to our Counter Terror Expo 2009, 2010 and 2011.”

Last year, ICTS was appointed as `Approved Canine Provider’ at ExCel London, delivering a complete range of canine services for all security-sensitive events, together with other routine protective services at the venue.

To assist the traffic flow at airports and cargo hubs, throughout the country, ICTS pioneered the REST system (RASCargO), using specialist canine deployments to check for explosives in cargo which is either too large or dense to be cleared by current X-ray screening methods. This fast and efficient air-sampling screening process is regulated by the Department of Transport, and monitored by the Defence Science Technology Laboratory, thus ensuring the maintenance of exacting standards.

With operations in 26 countries, ICTS is acknowledged as an industry leader in the provision of fully integrated security services, providing the design and implementation of bespoke security solutions worldwide.
