Mitie secures contract with Staffordshire police

Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has been awarded a security services contract with Staffordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, providing fully comprehensive maintenance of Staffordshire Police’s access control system.

The contract will see Mitie’s total security management business working with the force’s facilities management and IT departments over the next 12 months to deliver and maintain the entire system, covering all 22 of Staffordshire’s police stations, as well as their Weston Road headquarters, administration and data centres.

Mitie’s technical facilities management team will also be working closely with the system manufacturer to ensure the system is fully supported.
