Bilfinger Europa has won a new contract to provide facility services on behalf of Cadw, the Welsh Government’s historic environment service.

Following a competitive tender process, Bilfinger Europa has won a six-figure, two-year contract. This will see the company provide cleaning, grounds maintenance and M&E to 122 sites in total consisting of visitor centres, historic estates and landmark sites including Britain’s second largest castle Caerphilly Castle, the World Heritage Site of the Castles and Town Walls of Edward I in Gwynedd and Tintern Abbey; Wales’ first Cistercian foundation.

Cadw works for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. They conserve the heritage to help people understand and care about their history and help to sustain the distinctive character of Wales.
