Protecting shoppers at Sprucefield

OCS, the UK’s largest privately owned facilities management company, has secured a contract with Sprucefield Shopping Centre to provide security services, including CCTV and manned guarding.

The centre, located in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is an extremely prestigious shopping plaza owned by Marks and Spencer and has a number of retail outlets and restaurants. OCS will be in charge of manning the control room in conjunction with site patrol to ensure 24/7 security.

Tim Honeyford, Centre Manager, said, “We needed a company to maintain the security, safety and smooth management of the complex and its visitors. OCS impressed us and mobilised the contract efficiently, on time and virtually hassle free.”

OCS is currently a finalist in the BSIA Awards 2011 for Best Team in Scotland, Best Team in the North East and Best Use of Technology in the South West.
