Servest joins the Confederation of British Industry

Facilities management service provider Servest Group has joined major business lobbying and networking organisation the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).

Set up in order to provide a clearer voice for businesses on a national and international level, the CBI has over 240,000 companies as members, ranging from family owned start-ups to FTSE 100 organisations.

With a team of 90 economic and policy specialists, the CBI makes use of political access to tackle policy changes and to put its members in contact with key influencers.

“We joined the CBI because we want to be consulted on and influence government policies that have a direct impact on our business and the facilities management sector more widely,” said Rob Legge, Servest’s CEO UK and Europe.

“We are delighted to welcome Servest into CBI membership. They come on board at a time when we are seeing real positive signs of economic recovery in most sectors of the economy.” said Richard Tunnicliffe, Director, CBI East of England. “Servest’s knowledge and expertise in the FM industry will add clout to the CBI’s work in a number of important areas. Servest will in turn be able to participate in our networks and have an influence on the sectors they operate in.”
