Facial recognition software specialists, Ayonix and Wavestore, a leading provider of professional DVR, NVR, HVR and emergency management solutions, announce that they have entered a technology partnership to distribute Ayonix’s facial recognition, Video analytics products and Ayonix’s security solutions by integrating with Wavestore’s digital recording solutions in UK and Europe.

“Ayonix is very excited about this great opportunity to enter the U.K. market with our state-of-the-art facial recognition and image analysis technologies, Facematcher, Video inspector and Ayonix Public Security,” said Dr. Sadi Vural, President and CEO of Ayonix. “We strongly believe that our partnership with Wavestore will be of great benefit to customers in both the public and private market sectors who are looking to raise their level of security.”

Based in Japan, Ayonix specialises in customisable, easy-to-use and cost-effective facial and object analysis and recognition software, providing security personnel with powerful tools to identify unwanted visitors and potential suspects using sophisticated IP based video capture and analysis techniques.

“We are delighted that Ayonix has recognised that Wavestore has the ability to bring their highly effective facial and object recognition software to a wider audience, said Chris Williams, Wavestore’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. “Ayonix also produce advanced Video Analytics software for suspected package analysis, left object analysis, people counting and vehicle tracking, as well as a number of other advanced image processing and object recognition applications. All of these will be of interest to Wavestore’s discerning customers who will be able to achieve more from their security systems by taking advantage of our combined technological expertise.”
