G4S showcase tailored security solutions for the 21st century

G4S Security Services (UK) will demonstrate its ability to provide comprehensive security solutions at the Manchester Security 2008 exhibition – Managing the Unexpected. The UK’s leading security company will showcase its contingency planning capability and offer the opportunity to discuss your security needs with our expert team. Specifically, G4S will demonstrate CRIMECAST®, the market-leading tool in crime forecasting offered in partnership with CAP Index. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discuss the company’s integrated security offering with experts from across the business. These will include representatives from the ex-military G4S Gurkha Services division, and G4S’s own risk management consultants. G4S will highlight its ability to provide a ‘surge capability’ in the event of a natural disaster or civil emergency and the services it can deploy to protect critical national infrastructure.

G4S has a team of highly trained specialists and a dedicated standby force that can be deployed rapidly to deliver medical support and fire fighting capabilities across the UK. Douglas Greenwell, Sales and Marketing Director, G4S Security Services (UK), said: “In the current environment there’s a greater demand than ever for truly integrated and all-encompassing security provision. However, it is important to ensure security provision meets the bespoke needs of the individual client. We provide a range of services that enable us to match the appropriate security solution to the specific requirements of our customer, be they in the public or private sector. At Manchester Security 2008 we’re looking forward to discussing this capability further.” The event is open for visitors at 9.00am on Tuesday 8th April and will be officially opened by the Assistant Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police at 10.00am.
