| At a sparkling event at
the IPC Blue Fin Building in London to celebrate its 50 years in the City, Strand, synonymous
with top class cleaning in London’s iconic buildings, introduced Eligo and
Resolution as a premier brand alliance to top City clients. Eligo offers
bespoke high end fine dining, with experience in serving some of London’s most
discerning customers, and Resolution has an excellent reputation for offering a
tailored, discreet bespoke security service to blue chip clients in the world’s
leading international financial business centre. The Premier Alliance allows
Strand to offer clients a menu of choices in appropriate service disciplines.
Prestigious Strand clients attending the celebration were entertained by a
sushi-making competition run by top Eligo chefs with Mike O’Neill, Greymans Ltd,
and Andrew Clark, Mace Macro BG Group, scooping top prizes. Jim Melvin, Strand
managing director, explained the clear demand for a tailored service in the City
saying, “These customers demand a different, prestigious and discreet approach.
They are special, unique and wholly deserving of a bespoke service. Strand,
Eligo and Resolution have relevant experience which gives a clear understanding
of the market and the culture. The Premier Alliance can also offer service
consistency, innovation, and cost saving.”
Since
Strand’s introduction in 2008 of CleanSmart™, a breakthrough in the
cleaning industry discarding traditional techniques in favour of the proven
principles of lean engineering to ensure the most effective use of resources, a
number of City clients, including Lloyds of London and Mayer Brown, have seen
cost savings, improved staff morale and better quality service. Research and
development of this highly innovative product provide the foundation for the ‘Smart
Thinking’ philosophy which is part of Strand’s continuous improvement process
with the Premier Alliance.
