| G4S SHORTLISTED FOR MOD'S RECRUITING PARTNERING PROJECT |
|
G4S have been short listed to enter into the next stage for the Ministry of Defence’s Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP). This stage will involve competitive dialogue with the MoD’s Army Recruiting and Training Division which provides Army personnel and individual training for the MoD. The potential ten year contract on offer would be for the provision of a nationwide recruiting service comprising a broad mix of cutting edge military, technology and industry expertise. As part of its bid G4S will act as prime contractor for the RRP and has selected a consortium for the provision of key capabilities, including:

ICT provider - Fujitsu, a
Tier 1 supplier of ICT
solutions and
services
for the global marketplace.
and the leading service provider in the UK public sector;

Recruitment
services expertise - Kenexa, which
uses a unique combination of software, science and business process optimisation
to help organisations hire and retain a more productive workforce;

Marketing – TBWA Media Arts London, one of the world’s leading advertising and
marketing agencies;

Property services - Telereal
Trillium, the
major property services company involved with the provision of managing and
delivering facilities, capital projects and asset management services.

G4S already
delivers a wide range of services to the MoD and other UK Government departments
operating in hostile environments including: provision of pre-deployment
training services for British Army personnel and contractors deploying to Iraq
and Afghanistan; temporary commercial security
officers at MOD’s People, Pay and Pensions Agency locations across the UK;
protective security and Close Protection services to all UK diplomatic personnel
operating across Afghanistan; the design, build and ongoing facilities
management of the Met Office in Exeter; and
managing the MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credit initiative. |
