Advance was
chosen by the judges for creating a sustainable environmental policy at the very
heart of its business and for its continued commitment to developing and
implementing initiatives which promote environmental best practice.
Richard Bailey, managing director at Advance Security comments: “At Advance we
have been championing CSR for a number of years now and firmly believe that as
an industry we need to consider the environmental, social and economic impact of
all our business activities. “Support for CSR comes from the very highest level
within our company and as a matter of policy our entire management team seeks to
implement and promote environmentally friendly working practices and
programmes
across our
organisation.
“As
such, we’re delighted that our hard work in this area has been
recognised
again, something I believe to be
particularly impressive within an industry that is not known for its
environmental and social commitments.”
The
overall winner of the Chamber Awards 2009 will be announced in November this
year, with a grand prize of £50,000 for the successful company.
