| G4S SECURE SOLUTIONS (UK) APPOINTS STEVEN TAYLOR AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ITS RAIL AND MARITIME BUSINESS |

| G4S Secure
Solutions (UK) (‘G4S’) has announced the promotion of Steven Taylor to the
position of Managing Director of its Rail and Maritime division. He will be
responsible for managing the strategic direction of the business and identifying
new markets for growth. Steven takes charge of more than 1,000 employees across
the Rail and Maritime operations, which provide manned security services to the
UK rail industry and international ship and port security services. His
promotion is in recognition of the outstanding job he has done managing the
day-to-day operational delivery of services during a period of strong growth.

Steven to this position. He has done an excellent job with G4S to date and we
are very confident that he is the right man to lead the strategic direction of
this division going forward. We have set Steven challenging targets for the
business, but are confident he has the leadership and management skills required
to achieve our targets for growth in revenue and profits.”
