A security company based in north west England expects significant revenue growth after securing new contracts and widening the range of services it offers to clients.
Aztek Security Services was founded in 2024 by Alan Townley. The company reported revenues of almost £250,000 during its first year of trading, covering the period to August 2025. Turnover for the following 12 months, ending August 2026, is projected to reach £500,000.
The business is headquartered at Prinny Mill Business Centre in Haslingden, Rossendale. From this base, Aztek operates across the north west and undertakes assignments nationwide.
Aztek provides a range of security services including manned guarding, canine units, mobile patrols, event security and gatehouse staffing. The company also supplies front-of-house security and concierge personnel for commercial and residential locations.
In addition to personnel-based services, the firm designs, installs, maintains and monitors CCTV systems for both commercial and residential clients.
During the current year, Aztek added facilities management services to its portfolio. These include cleaning, site fencing and cabin hire, expanding the range of on-site support available to customers.
Assignments carried out by the company include both short-term and long-term deployments. Sites covered include construction projects, hospitality venues, industrial facilities, warehouses, sports fixtures, corporate functions, private events, private residences, apartment buildings and residential neighbourhoods.
Recent contract awards include work for Evri and DHL, as well as the Royal Nawaab restaurant located at the Stockport Pyramid and Oldham-based Booth Hill Demolition.
The company has also secured domestic security assignments for Premier League footballers and other high net worth individuals.
Aztek currently employs more than 20 security personnel. The workforce includes former officers from Greater Manchester Police, including individuals who previously served in specialist units such as firearms and the Tactical Aid Unit.
Managing director Alan said the company intends to expand its workforce during the coming year.
He added: “We have expanded our range of services, our client base and our geographical reach, delivering events in cities such as Leeds, Derby and Newcastle and driving growth ahead of our initial forecasts.
“Our strong reputation has played a part in this expansion, along with recommendations from existing clients.
“We are continuing to invest in the business and plan to recruit further security personnel and business development specialists over the coming year. Our focus is on building long-term relationships with clients and maintaining the high standards that have helped us grow so quickly.
“Former police officers bring huge benefits to the business and our clients. They are always smart in appearance, have the expertise to know how to deal with situations under pressure, and their attendance and reliability are exemplary.”
The company’s progress was recognised at the 2025 Grafters Awards in Manchester, where Aztek received the Best Newcomer award and was also commended in the category for Best Specialist Supplier to the Construction Industry.
