Social enterprise security provider Corps Security has introduced Corps Intel, a new division focused on intelligence, risk management and consultancy services.
The offering is designed to address a broadening threat environment facing organisations. Alongside traditional criminal risks, businesses are increasingly exposed to disruption from protest activity, misinformation and disinformation, geopolitical developments and vulnerabilities linked to interconnected systems. These factors can impact operations, reputation and continuity, often emerging with limited visibility.
Corps Intel is structured to help organisations assess their exposure, identify risks at an earlier stage and implement appropriate responses. The service is analyst-led and includes threat monitoring, digital footprint assessments, physical penetration and contingency testing, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Additional capabilities include expert witness provision, consultancy and access to subject matter specialists.
The new division builds on the existing Corps Consult advisory function, expanding the organisation’s intelligence-led capabilities.
Neil Shanks, Director of Corps Intel said: “A business is only as strong as its weakest point. 99% of a business’s continuity plan may be strong, but if 1% isn’t, the business is at risk. Organisations need to spot a threat before it arrives at their door and have the correct procedures in place to deal with it effectively. It’s this peace of mind that Corps Intel provides.”
