Mitie, the facilities management company which delivers a range of services across the UK, this morning announced its results for the six months ended 30 September 2015.
The FTSE 250 company’s results reflect strong revenue growth up 2.6% to £1,123.1m, of which 2.1% is organic.
In this period Mitie, who employs about 70,000 people across the United Kingdom and Europe, was awarded and retained contracts which include:
· A range of new integrated FM contracts including with Daily Mail Group, Deloitte, a major bank and Thales Group, with a combined total annual value in excess of £50m
· A 100% contract retention rate in integrated FM: retained Rolls-Royce for a further five years, extended Sky for an additional five years and retained RWE Npower
· A new two plus two year contract at all of E.ON’s UK sites delivering 24 hour security personnel
· A new contract with Circle Housing to provide response repairs and maintenance services to 6,500 properties in London
