James Kelly, the Chief Executive of the BSIA and Chairman of The Security Regulation Alliance has responded to the long awaited consultation document released by the Home Office today.
James says: “The BSIA welcomes the fact that at last, the consultation document has been issued. This is a long-awaited development in the transition process, having previously reached agreement with the SIA on many aspects of the future regulatory regime.
“The BSIA was anxious not to lose the momentum it has achieved through the Security Regulation Alliance. We will consult our members on this pivotal set of proposals and look forward in particular to identifying when the requisite primary legislation can be scheduled.”
