Corps Security secured two accolades at the 2025 Security and Fire Excellence Awards, held on 1 December at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London. The organization was recognized in the Inspiration in HR and Security or Fire ESG Initiative of the Year categories, with judges highlighting the company’s people-focused approach as a driver of operational success.
The Inspiration in HR award acknowledged Corps Security’s key initiatives, including its management development programme, £45,000 investment in the internal colleague portal, and £20,000 dedicated to colleague reward and recognition. The organization’s online recruitment platform, Talos 360, was also noted for streamlining hiring processes. Corps Security reported a 5.11% attrition rate, well below industry norms, and 59% of colleagues with over five years of service. Judges highlighted the use of technology and data to measure impact, with 70% of colleagues strongly agreeing that HR keeps them informed and engaged.
The ESG Initiative of the Year award recognized Corps Security’s integrated approach to environmental, social, and governance priorities, underpinned by its people, planet, and purpose framework. Judges cited the organization’s progress toward net zero targets, including a 7.15% reduction in carbon emissions, 36% of the vehicle fleet now electric or hybrid, Neutral Carbon Zone gold certification, and EcoVadis silver accreditation. Corps Security’s commitment to fair pay was also highlighted, with 98.8% of colleagues now receiving the Real Living Wage. Social impact initiatives, including partnerships with veteran charities and a £100,000 donation to Combat Stress in the last financial year, were also recognized.
Paul Lotter, Managing Director of Corps Security, commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive these two awards, which recognize the hard work and dedication of our teams across the business. Our HR colleagues, led by HR Director Magda Jablonska El-Aasar, work tirelessly to create an environment where people feel valued and supported. Our commitment to ESG, led by Quality and Compliance Manager Sharon McLaren, also reflects our purpose as a social enterprise: to support the communities and environment we operate within. These awards demonstrate that we’re doing right by our people and our planet.”
