Corps Security appoints Paul Lotter as Chief Operating Officer amid operational realignment

Corps Security has restructured its senior operational leadership as part of a move to an integrated operating model, with Paul Lotter appointed Chief Operating Officer.

The structure brings together three core divisions: Corps Security (guarding services), Corps Monitoring (remote monitoring), and Corps Intel (intelligence, risk and consultancy). These functions will now operate under a unified framework covering the organisation’s service lines.

The company said the model is intended to align operational delivery across its businesses, covering guarding, monitoring and intelligence-led services.

Under the new arrangement, Lotter will oversee a senior operational team comprising Divisional Directors, the National Accounts Director, Director of the National Operations Centre, Mobilisation Director, and Director of Corps Intel. He will be responsible for overall operational coordination and delivery across the group.

The Innovation & Technology Services division will continue under the leadership of Andrea Strong, Group Director of Technology & Innovation. The division will work alongside the operational teams on the application of technologies including drones, robotics and data analytics within service delivery.

Lotter has more than 30 years’ experience in the security sector. He joined Corps Security in 2018 as Regional Operations Director and was appointed Managing Director in 2019, where he led initiatives across business development, compliance frameworks and technology programmes. Prior to joining the company, he held senior roles at Securitas and Interserve.

On his appointment, Lotter said: “It is an honour to step into this role at such a transformational moment for the business. By bringing our capabilities together under one coherent model, we can draw on our expertise in guarding, technology, intelligence and innovation to provide a tailored solution for each client. I’m looking forward to supporting colleagues and the wider leadership team as we build this together.”

Corps Security CEO Mike Bullock said: “Since joining Corps, Paul has contributed enormously to the direction of this business. His COO appointment is a recognition of that contribution and of his deep understanding of our long-term vision. As we move into this next chapter, Paul’s operational leadership will be central to delivering our integrated model to our customers.”
