Amulet has been selected as the security provider for the Bank of England under an 18-month contract. This appointment makes Amulet only the third company to take on this role in the Bank’s history.
The contract covers guarding services at two primary sites: the Bank’s headquarters on Threadneedle Street in London and the printing facility located in Debden.
The award followed a competitive tendering process via the Crown Commercial Service Security Framework (RM6257), where Amulet received an overall score of 99.54% for quality and price.
The evaluation process highlighted several aspects of Amulet’s proposal, including its locally managed team structure, contract delivery model, and intelligence reporting capabilities.
Kieran Mackie, Managing Director at Amulet, commented: “This partnership with the Bank of England is the gold standard in security partnerships. Our team is excited to deliver exceptional security services at these iconic locations, bringing our innovative perspective and ‘people first’ approach to an institution that demands nothing short of excellence. This is a truly prestigious client that trusts our delivery and we’re honoured to be awarded this contract.”
