The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, and SPV company Kintra, have confirmed that OCS will continue to provide a total facilities management (TFM) service to Chepstow Community Hospital until 2020. OCS, which provides maintenance and engineering services, patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, housekeeping, reception and switchboard, portering, laundry and grounds and waste management, has provided all FM services to the hospital since it opened in 2000.
Chepstow Community Hospital was developed under the Government’s Private Finance Initiative, bringing a new approach to the provision of care by delivering primary, community and secondary care from one location. The building also houses two GP practices.
