G4S, the world’s leading secure solutions group and an Official Supporter of England’s 2018 World Cup bid, provided security services throughout the official FIFA bid inspection, which took place between 23 and 26 August 2010.
G4S security personnel accompanied the delegation of inspectors throughout the four-day trip as they visited some of England’s most iconic football stadia and attended high profile, invitation-only events in London and Manchester, each of which was secured with specialist support from G4S. The company also provided secure transportation for the inspectors’ luggage.
