Nominations have opened for the inaugural Outstanding Loss Prevention Awards (OLPAs), a new independent awards programme recognising achievement across the retail loss prevention, asset protection and profit protection sectors. Entries will remain open until 24 November 2026.
The awards aim to recognise individuals, teams and organisations that have demonstrated measurable results in areas including theft and fraud reduction, asset protection, operational risk management and organisational resilience.
The OLPAs are free to enter and have been established with an independent judging process. According to the organisers, judges are appointed independently rather than by the awards organisers. The programme also operates under an ethical sponsorship policy, with headline sponsor UKPAC and collaborating partner ORIS-CON not involved in appointing judges or participating in the judging process.
Martin Gill, Founder of the OLPAs, said: “Independence and integrity sit at the heart of the OLPAs. These awards champion excellence without influence, ensuring that every nomination is judged fairly, and every achievement is recognised on merit alone.”
The awards are open to professionals and organisations working across the loss prevention sector, including in-house teams, security providers, consultants, technology suppliers, installers and training providers.
The first OLPAs ceremony will be held during a gala dinner on 16 March 2027 at the VOX Birmingham alongside ORIS-CON ’27.
