Positive Response appoints new business development director

Jason Waywell

Positive Response, a leader in the research and development of remote safety monitoring, recently appointed Jason Waywell to the role of business development director. Waywell is responsible for supporting the continued growth of the company and for developing strategic customer relationships with major clients.

CEO of Positive Response Dave Whittle commented: “Jason is an expert in developing high level relationships and delivering bespoke solutions to customers. He has over 15 years’ experience of supplying services to the retail sector, working with many prominent retailers. This is a key appointment for Positive Response as we extend the influence of our staff safety and well being technology across the UK. We look forward to working with Jason, and his extensive experience will help lead our business development and sales teams to new heights.”

Before taking up his position at Positive Response, Waywell was a business development director at Polymer Logistics, a global leader in Retail Ready Packaging (RRP). He previously held senior business development positions at Schoeller Allibert and CHEP.

“One of my clear commercial goals is to significantly increase year on year revenue growth, with a focus on selected sectors. But I’m also very excited to join Positive Response to help to clearly communicate the direct and consequential benefits of StaffSafe, providing a full view of how it can enhance staff safety and deliver value.”

With the latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) crime report revealing that the police have seen a shocking 30 per cent increase in ‘violence against the person’ offences, with nearly one in every 50 adults being victims of violent crime last year, Positive Response is encouraging businesses to do more to ensure their staff and customers feel secure in a safe environment.
