Barton’s Kingdom Expands with Two New Acquisitions

Wigan based Kingdom Security has added £24.5 million to its £50 million security services annual turnover in the first two months of 2015 with two security services businesses acquisitions. This moves Kingdom Security from joint 13th in the Infologue.com Top 30 Table of UK Security Companies 2014 to 9th writes Infologue.com Publisher, Bobby Logue.

The first acquisition was Basingstoke based MJF Security Ltd which had an annual turnover of £7.5 million. MJF is a multi-disciplined business with an established client base within London and the Home Counties.

Yesterday they announced the acquisition of the Sunwin Managed Security business from Cardtronics, Inc., the world’s largest retail ATM operator. Sunwin Managed Security is a provider of manned guarding services with approximately 640 security professionals. Other units of Cardtronics’ Sunwin Services Group – secure cash logistics and ATM maintenance – continue to be owned and operated by Cardtronics.

This acquisition represents the continued desire for Kingdom to increase significantly its national market share.”
