Mul-T-Lock is making its debut at the Transport Security Expo, to introduce the leading security locking company’s new ‘Combined Solutions’ initiative and show how its award winning electromechanical product portfolio can work to secure any transport application.
Visitors to stand C12 will be able to see how Mul-T-Lock has evolved to offer bespoke ‘Combined Solutions’ incorporating high security mechanical and electromechanical products to help those tasked with defining arrangements for protecting passengers, cargo and high risk assets.
Transport Security Expo, which opens at London’s Olympia on November 14th 2012, offers delegates from around the world an opportunity to debate the issues and new technologies that affect security against terrorism.
Mul-T-Lock will display its latest electromechanical product solutions, including the award winning high security WatchLock padlock, which integrates GPRS and SIM based communications to provide real time event and location information on where a Padlock is and whether it has been tampered with at any point on its journey.
Also on show will be the innovative CLIQ Security from Mul-T-Lock, a user-friendly standalone access control system, which is easy to install, and combines intelligent electromechanical capabilities with robust mechanical protection in the key itself to offer flexible and portable security with the additional benefit of being able to obtain a full audit trail.
Mul-T-Lock CLIQ Remote uses web-based software to allow transport companies and their contractors to have keys remotely authorised for use in operational areas.
The keys can be programmed to be functional at pre-determined times – such as loading and unloading, as required by the system managers. At all other times, the key can be programmed to be inoperable.
Mul-T-Lock will also present the benefits of integrating a patented master key suite with electro-mechanics to ensure access rights are controlled by authorised personnel only.
Says Steve Ross, Managing Director of Mul-T-Lock UK: “With a terrorist’s aim to cause maximum disruption, it is more crucial than ever to ensure that product solutions are suitable for their specific application.
“This used to refer to the security level of a product or the management and control possibilities of keys. However in today’s changing world, the need for intelligence within products is more prevalent than ever before. Our solutions are designed to be easily implemented with little disruption to the day to day operations, whilst maintaining the high security needs required. Access management can then be controlled and traffic flow limited only to those authorised across a complete terminal building, whether it be an airport, bus or train station or any transport application.
“Transport Security Expo is also an ideal place for Mul-T-Lock to introduce our Combined Solutions strategy and demonstrate how taking an overview approach to security can help identify the specific needs of individual areas which must be secure. At the same time, by presenting products such as our award winning Watchlock Padlock and CLIQ, objects on the move such as baggage handling and trollies can all be monitored and kept secure from sabotage at all times.”
WatchLock was the winner of the IFSEC International Security Industry Awards 2012. For more details on WatchLock or CLIQ, please visit Mul-T-Lock on stand C12 at the Tranport Security Expo on Wednesday 14th or Thursday 15th November 2012.
