Universal Support Services Group (USSG) has been appointed to two public sector procurement frameworks covering security services across the UK.
The Manchester-based security company has secured places on two lots within the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework. These cover physical and electronic security systems and services under Lot 4C, and security advisory and assessment services under Lot 4D.
USSG has also been appointed to the ESPO 347_26 Security Services Framework, which provides a procurement route for public sector organisations seeking security services.
Services covered by the ESPO framework include static manned guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding, alarm response, lock and unlock services, and temporary emergency security cover.
The framework appointments follow an expansion of USSG’s operations across Greater Manchester and the wider North West. The company has increased its guarding operations across retail and commercial premises, high-rise residential developments requiring waking watch services, and construction sites.
USSG holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status and NASDU certification for canine operations. It also has Constructionline Gold membership and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications through Amtivo.
Ali Arain at USSG said: “Securing places on both the Crown Commercial Service and ESPO frameworks is a reflection of the hard work and high standards our entire team works to every day, It creates a solid platform for our future growth and makes it easier for public sector bodies to partner with a trusted, fully compliant security provider.”
