CIS Security retained as London University Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) Approved Supplier for a third term

Ibrahim SeakHaving served a number of London’s most prestigious educational and cultural institutions for a number of years, CIS have again been successful in their recent tender for the LUPC Framework Agreement.

CIS consider the educational security market a specialist one, requiring specific training and sensitivity to the end users. Customer experience is paramount and following their recent investment in IT systems and customer service programs, not to mention recognition in the 2015 and 2016 BIFM Awards, The London-based security company are keen to share their successes in the education sector to coincide with their retention of the LUPC’s business.

Whilst the company have seen an increase in the number of high-level commendations for their staff across corporate and public clients, they have chosen to celebrate the retention of their place as an approved supplier on the LUPC’s agreement for Security Services by announcing the successes of the people who continue to make them proud across the LUPC contracts they manage.

Amongst those is award winning Maverney Jones, now Team Leader at the University of East London. Maverney was honoured by the London’s Air Ambulance at CIS’s Annual Award ceremony winning the top prize in the category ”The London’s Air Ambulance Award”, created to recognise potentially life saving intervention. Maverney was also recently awarded the coveted “Officer of Distinction” at the 2016 ACS Pacesetters Annual Awards. In addition, she was a runner up in the recent Women in Security Frontline Officer of the Year Award. Her commitment and resilience is second to none and she has never hesitated to intervene on challenging incidents.

From a customer relationship point of view, security professionals don’t get much better than Ibrahim Seak at Goldsmith’s University of London. Ibby, as he is affectionately known by his colleagues and students at the University, was awarded inaugural ‘Student Led Teaching Award’ for Goldsmiths’ favourite non-academic staff member. Danny Nasr, 2016 Student body President at Goldsmiths, cited Ibrahim as “one of the warmest presences at the university”, adding, “Ibby never cares whether you are staff or a student, he still treats everyone with the same of respect and love that makes him such a great guy. He is a Goldsmith’s treasure”.
