Police forces and local and national Government departments can now hire experienced former police officers as support staff from security consultants Lodge Service. Assignments range from crime investigation and fraud audits, to data recovery and intelligence analysis.
The service is managed by former police officers and is coordinated through the Lodge Services intelligence centre in Redditch, Worcestershire, with a former Deputy Chief Constable on Lodge Service’s advisory board.
“ It’s recognised by the police and Government that accredited private sector sources can provide them with cost effective support at times of peak demand on resources,” says Simon Chapman, managing director of Lodge Service.
“Lodge offers an alternative source of supplier to extend their choice, as a technology-based provider of consultancy services in specialist areas of investigation and data services.”
Lodge Service is the largest independent family-owned business in the sector says Simon Chapman, with £22 million turnover and nearly 800 staff, and a database of registered contract staff. There are local offices or franchise operations in eight other countries.
