Security and logistics specialist Wilson James have appointed Gemma Quirke as their new Managing Director for Security Services adding to the strength of their Security team.
Gemma, previously HR director for the business , has worked in the security industry for over 15 years and throughout this time has worked closely with industry bodies including Skills for Security, the BSIA and the SIA. Gemma has been extensively involved in the development of security employment policy and has played a key role in helping to raise the standards of professionalism across the industry.
Commenting on the appointment Gemma said ‘I’m excited about the security industry and the direction it is going in. There is a great opportunity for the industry to continue to develop and be recognised for the professionalism and expertise for which we provide, something that we are very proud of at Wilson James. Gemma’s role will be specifically focussed on managing the strategic direction for security at Wilson James working closely with Ron Dickin, Customer Liaison Director and Executive Director, Stuart Lowden.
