ASSA ABLOY Access Control presented its innovative wireless locking solutions for secure access control, under the ASSA ABLOY theme “Access your world” at IFSEC 2013. Jointly presenting their solutions for the third consecutive year, this presence incorporated the combined power of award-winning technology from HID Global, ASSA ABLOY, and ASSA ABLOY group companies Yale, Mul-T-Lock, Abloy, Traka and effeff.
Key highlights on stand C40 – C50 included the new Aperio™ L100 that offers the world’s first wireless lock range for security doors, with capability to transmit comprehensive information on door status to an access control system.
ASSA ABLOY Access Control also showcased the new Aperio™ PINpad escutcheon that presents an extra level of access control for doors requiring multiple authentication, providing users with the opportunity to enter a PIN of four to eight characters, or utilise a high security card reader, or a combination of both.
Unveiled at IFSEC 2013 were equally exciting opportunities with Aperio™ SE supporting revolutionary Seos™ mobile access ecosystem from ASSA ABLOY and latest escape door solutions from effeff connected to an access control system via the ASSA ABLOY Device Protocol interface.
Damian Marsh for ASSA ABLOY UK, said: “IFSEC continues to be a hugely important show for ASSA ABLOY, not only to showcase our latest product innovations, but it also provides us with an excellent platform to discuss latest trends and end user requirements in security, together as an industry.
“From our discussions at IFSEC this year and our own voice of customer research, we can continue to understand what is being asked for and deliver what the market needs. This way our products and solutions can continue to present cutting edge technology in access control, identification technology and entrance automation, but also add business value for the benefit of our customers and their customers at the same time.”
