AURA has launched a new Security Installer Programme aimed at security installers and systems integrators, giving them the option to add physical security response to existing alarm, CCTV and monitoring services.
The programme is designed to provide an additional recurring revenue stream for installation businesses without requiring them to operate their own response vehicles, employ security guards or establish dedicated response infrastructure.
AURA said the programme has been developed in response to growing demand for security services that provide a physical response following the detection of an incident.
Under the programme, participating partners can access AURA’s technology platform and network of security responders. When an alarm is activated, the system dispatches the nearest vetted responder to the site. AURA states that its average UK response time is under 29 minutes.
The response service can operate alongside existing alarm systems, CCTV installations, alarm receiving centres and monitoring centres. This enables installers and integrators to add a response service without replacing the technology already deployed at customer sites.
The programme also includes a mobile-first site activation tool. During installation, technicians can use the tool to record information such as site access instructions, key contacts and site-specific risks. The information can then be made available to responders when an incident occurs.
Participating partners purchase the service at a fixed monthly rate per site. They can then determine the price charged to their own customers, providing an opportunity to generate recurring service revenue while AURA manages responder dispatch, its technology platform and its network of response providers.
AURA is also holding an Installer Masterclass to introduce the programme and explain how it operates, its commercial model and the process for joining. The online session is aimed at security installers, alarm receiving centres (ARCs), systems integrators and monitoring providers.
“Security businesses are increasingly looking beyond traditional installation and monitoring services to find new ways to add value for customers,” said Alex Booth, UK Managing Director at AURA. “Our Installer Programme gives partners a straightforward way to add physical response to their existing offering, helping them strengthen their customer proposition while building a new source of recurring revenue. Crucially, they can do this without having to build or manage their own response infrastructure.”
Warren Myers, AURA’s co-founder and CEO, added that “as AURA continues to expand across the UK, partnerships with security installers, ARCs and integrators will play an increasingly important role in scaling access to on-demand response.”
“Our goal is to work alongside the existing security ecosystem, enabling businesses to offer a comprehensive solution while leveraging AURA’s technology and responder network. The Installer Programme represents an important step in building a more connected, responsive security infrastructure.”
