G4S Security Services (UK) (‘G4S’) has appointed Richard Fenton-Jones as Managing Director of its G4S Monitoring and Response division. Richard will head a team of 350 officers, with overall responsibility for operations and business development. Richard, who worked at Securicor (now G4S) as Major Accounts Director and Regional Director from 2000-2002, was previously Managing Director of OCS Security where he oversaw an £85 million turnover. As Managing Director of G4S Monitoring and Response he will be responsible for significantly increasing the size and turnover of the business both by acquisition and by identifying new markets.
