Mitie to sponsor IFSEC 08 conference

MITIE, the UK’s second largest provider of security services, is pleased to announce it is to be a principal sponsor of the IFSEC Conference 2008 which will take place from 12 to 14 May at the NEC in Birmingham.

MITIE, who are already exhibiting at the event, recognise the important role that it will play in providing end users with an opportunity to share best practice and this reinforces the company’s commitment to raising standards across the security industry.  The new format of the IFSEC Conference allows for pick and mix sessions featuring high quality content from leading security practitioners. The IFSEC conference agenda is tailored to meet the ever-changing, diverse needs of the security industry, with a packed agenda covering absolutely every element of security.

The IFSEC show celebrates its 35th birthday this May and all along, the event, organised by CMP Information, has retained its position as the key event in the global industry’s calendar. Darren Gamage, Head of Marketing for MITIE’s security business comments: “We’ve been working hard with the show organisers to come up with a new format that would appeal to security professionals and provide them with an opportunity to share experience and raise standards.  Whilst IFSEC has traditionally been seen principally as an event that showcases technology, we are pleased to be supporting the organisers in taking the show to a new level.”   The three day programme will cover the most cutting-edge issues for the security industry enabling delegates to learn, share and develop their outlook on security in a receptive environment. MITIE will be exhibiting on stand 564 in Hall 7.
