Advance Security UK Ltd specialises in the provision of security services to the retail sector and was recently invited to provide security for Swarovski, at the launch of their new Flagship Store on London’s bustling Oxford Street. Celebrity guests and top fashion journalists attended the champagne reception and were treated to a evening of live entertainment by top DJs Coco Sumner and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
For over 100 years Swarovski has developed its supreme mastery of precision cutting to become the worlds leading producer of cut crystal, genuine gemstones and created stones. Swarovski products are sold in over 1300 distinctive stores and concessions throughout the world.
Tim Moore, Head of Loss Prevention UK & Ireland Swarovski, explained why Advance was the security partner of choice ‘Advance quickly understood our brand and requirements for high standards. The key to any event of this magnitude is down to good planning and great service, which Advance delivered to the highest level’.
Security was high on the agenda for the night and as Emma Peskett, Senior Press Officer, Swarovski UK stated ‘Advance provided an excellent service. Their doormen were smartly dressed and personable and greeted guests at the door with a smile, while discreetly managing the crowds outside. Swarovski would not hesitate to recommend their services and will most certainly be using Advance again for future parties and fashion events.”
Managing Director of Advance, Chris Fieldhouse, was full of praise for the security team and said ‘Once again our high levels of service have made a difference, the officers really do deserve the praise they received from the team at Swarovski’.
Advance has also recently won the security contract for Uniqlo, a modern Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. With over 14 stores across the UK Uniqlo has its flagship store on Oxford Street, just meters away form the new Swarovski store.
