Aegis Support Services Opens Security Control Centre in Milton Keynes

Aegis Support Services, a national security and facilities management company, has opened a new security control and training center in Milton Keynes as part of its growth strategy.

Located at The Parks Trust site in Wolverton, this new facility gives Aegis more room to expand and will feature advanced cloud-based alarm systems and improved monitoring services. These upgrades will allow them to provide services such as lone worker checks, panic alarm response, and gate and barrier control for other businesses.

Aegis Training, the company’s sister organization, will also run its largest training center from this site. The facility will include a café and free parking, offering a variety of courses such as door supervision, security officer training, and CCTV certifications for both external trainees and Aegis’s own staff.

This launch comes after recent developments, including the hiring of Darren Austin as the national head of operations earlier this year and the company’s inclusion in the Crescent Purchasing Consortium framework, which supports educational institutions in acquiring security services.

Qadeer Qureshi, CEO, commented: “We have seen strong growth across our security services division and the investment in our new control centre represents a key step in our development and is part of our commitment to continue to deliver high-quality and value-for-money security and FM services to our clients across the UK. The new premises provide us with room to continue to grow our team and capabilities, brings new technological advancements to our business and will see us continue to bring teams together from across Aegis Support Services and Aegis Training for the benefit of our clients. The space will also provide an excellent working environment for our people and help us to attract new talent to the business.”

Aegis Support Services was founded in 2001 as a parking enforcement company before launching their security department in 2010. They launched a training company in 2018.
