On the 19th of June 2020, Carlisle Support Services announced the appointment of 5 new directors across their business. These appointments include 3 regional Managing Directors and 2 newly created Commercial Director positions.
The Regional Managing Director positions were filled by candidates brought in from other companies as well as one internal promotion. The three new Directors are Tom Ward, Adrian White and Kevin Meighan.
Tom Ward, previously of Anabas, Mitie and Interserve, will cover Security & Events North Division while Adrian White, former Carlisle Support Services Operations Director, will cover the South Division. Kevin Meighan will be responsible for Cleaning, Industrial and Retail Services.
Of the appointments, Carlisle Support Services, Chief Executive, Paul Evans said, “the need for these appointments was clear as we exited 2019. As we continue to grow as a business with increases to our client base, over 3,500 front-line employees, and annual revenues of c.£80m, this presented the need to maintain a level of resilience in our operating structures. A structure that will allow us to deliver on our vision of becoming the most trusted provider of people-based services for the customers we serve and markets we choose to work in.
I am thrilled that the individuals who have been appointed into these roles will continue to challenge Carlisle Support Services in the coming years and bring with them experiences and views from their careers to date. It is this injection of change that is most exciting for me as I am keen to ensure to progress onwards with our strategic journey beyond where we are today.”
The two Commercial Directors, who will report directly to Tom and Adrian, are Hannah Bridgman and Martin Woollam.
“I am extremely excited about my recent appointment as Commercial Director with Carlisle Support Services. I have already met several committed, passionate, and ambitious people within the team and have received such a warm welcome. I hope that with my background working in the transport industry, having an understanding of concession agreements, franchise KPI’s and the need to foster and form new relationships places me in a good position to drive and support Carlisle Support Services in achieving their ambitions and goals. I look forward to engaging with the teams and clients to further enhance our staff and client satisfaction,” said Bridgman.
Of his appointment, Woollam commented, “I am thrilled to be embarking upon the next exciting journey in my career with Carlisle Support Services. We have an amazing story to tell about the people and solutions we provide that transform our client’s operations daily. I look forward to welcoming many more clients to the Carlisle family.”
Bridgman and Woollam will take up their new responsibilities immediately.
