Copeland Group Services firm has expanded its operations following the acquisition of several contracts in Greater Manchester.
Copeland Group Services has taken over a number of contracts previously held by Rochdale-based MJ Tyson Security, along with the rights to use the MJ Tyson brand. The contracts cover a range of services, including staffing gatehouse distribution centres, CCTV monitoring, keyholding at commercial properties, and deploying CCTV towers on construction sites.
Copeland Group Services is headquartered in Bromborough, Wirral, where it also operates a national support centre. The company serves clients across the UK in sectors such as construction, property management, hospitality, and distribution.
Founded in 2003 by Kyle Disley, the company employs over 80 staff and reports an annual turnover of approximately £6 million. The newly acquired contracts are expected to increase revenue by a six-figure sum.
Copeland’s existing services include mobile patrols, alarm response, keyholding, installation and monitoring of CCTV and alarm systems, rapid CCTV deployment, and lone worker security support.
According to the company, staff previously employed by MJ Tyson have joined Copeland as part of the transition, and the service delivery for acquired contracts will continue without interruption. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Chris Gardiner of Gardiner Russell Accounting provided advisory support on the transaction.
Copeland Group Services holds several industry accreditations, including Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor status, Constructionline Gold membership, and certification under the Safety Schemes in Procurement initiative and multiple ISO standards.
