Corps Monitoring Appoints Paul Bidwell in Business Development Manager Role

Corps Monitoring, a security monitoring organisation operating as a social enterprise, has appointed Paul Bidwell as business development manager. He joined the company in April 2025.

In his new role, Bidwell is responsible for developing business opportunities within the security monitoring sector, supporting existing clients, and working with those approaching contract renewal. His focus includes delivering tailored and cost-conscious solutions. Based in the South of England, he will support efforts to grow Corps Monitoring’s presence across the UK beyond its Scottish headquarters.

Bidwell previously held the position of programme manager and senior global integrator at Amazon Corporate Security. His responsibilities there included implementing global security systems, managing risk assessments for prototype devices, deploying key management technologies, and enhancing CCTV standardisation and rollouts. His career spans more than two decades in managed services and technology, where he led various strategic business initiatives.

Outside his professional role, Bidwell is engaged in community activities. He is a Bracknell Borough councillor, a school governor at Fox Hill Primary School, chair of Age Concern Bracknell, and a Brooklands Trust Member, with a longstanding interest in motor sport.

Bidwell said: “I am delighted to join Corps Monitoring to expand our customer base. I was drawn to the company’s history, dedication to excellence, and its emphasis on supporting local communities, from its fundraising work and veteran support to its social enterprise status that prioritises its people. I want to be part of Corps’ journey and help deliver profits that feed directly back into our communities nationwide.”

Andrea Strong, managing director of Corps Monitoring, said: “Paul’s values align perfectly with our organisation’s ethos. He has seamlessly integrated with the team at Corps Monitoring and has already begun close collaboration with key stakeholders. We’re excited about his potential to broaden our customer base and strengthen our position in the monitoring sector.”
