G4S Events, Europe’s leading independent event security and safety company, scooped a win for Best Outdoor/ Ambient Media at the Recruitment Awards Design awards (‘RADs’) ceremony, which took place in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel, on Thursday 20 January. The recruitment campaign was chosen as the winner by the judges who described it as “…very focused and relevant to the target audience.”
The brief for Wave Advertising, who won the contract to deliver the campaign alongside G4S in April 2010, was to recruit Event Safety Stewards for future events and raise awareness of G4S’ event security roles. The results of the award winning campaign were gratifying, with a 600% uplift in applications versus the previous year.
For 21 years the RADs has championed the very best of recruitment marketing. The awards aim to reward agencies and HR professionals who together produce outstanding recruitment campaigns with innovation, skill and effectiveness.
