G4S extends relationship with Aberdeen football club

G4S, the largest security company in the UK and Ireland, today announces the extension of its contract to provide security, stewarding and crowd management services to Aberdeen Football Club for another five years.  The contract has immediate effect and is a continuation of services G4S has provided to the club for over 10 years.

Commentating on the continued partnership, John Morgan, Operations Manager for Aberdeen Football Club said: “We are pleased to be continuing to work in partnership with G4S, as it provides professional stewarding services to the club with highly trained personnel who have extensive experience working in this type of environment.  This extension allows further development of our commitment to improving standards of safety at Aberdeen Football Club.”

Managing Director of G4S Events, Mark Hamilton, commented, “As the stewarding providers at Pittodrie Stadium, our staff deal directly with supporters at every match either by offering general information or safety advice and guidance.  A good match experience and the safety of fans are our priorities and we have worked closely with Aberdeen Football Club over the years to develop and maintain high levels of service and safety.  As a result of this extension of our contract, we will be able to continue our work to further enhance the supporters’ experience.”
