Management switch at Loomis

Jarl Dahlfors, Executive Vice President and Regional President USA, has been appointed as President and CEO of Loomis. He will take on his new position no later than September 1, 2013 when he will take over from Lars Blecko.

At the same time Lars Blecko will become Executive Vice President and Regional President USA and will relocate to Houston, Texas.

“Lars has done an excellent job as President of Loomis, and has delivered an unbroken series of operating margin improvements since he took over as President in 2008. Under Lars’ leadership we have reached the goals we set for Loomis and we are now well-equipped for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in the years to come. Lars now wants to live and work in the USA for a number of years. Continuity is ensured and Loomis will continue to benefit from his expertise and leadership as he takes over as Regional President while remaining a member of the Group management team as Executive Vice President,” says Alf Göransson, Chairman of the Board of Loomis.

“Jarl and I have worked very closely together over the past five years on restructuring and developing Loomis. As I now take the decision to leave my post as President and CEO to work at a more operational level in the USA, Jarl is a natural successor,” says Lars Blecko.

Jarl Dahlfors was employed by Loomis in 2007 as CFO, having previously worked as CFO for the Attendo Group and EF Education.

“Jarl has many years of experience in the service sector and has developed Loomis’ business in the USA over the past few years in terms of both operations and profitability. As a Group Executive Vice President and in his former role as CFO, Jarl has developed a deep understanding of Loomis’ business,” says Alf Göransson.
