International total facilities management firm OCS has won a facilities contract with Clapham One, the landmark new-build development on London’s Clapham High Street.
The development, designed by Studio Egret West and delivered by specialist public private partnership developers Cathedral Group together with United House, replaces a rundown block of flats and offices, with state of the art facilities. These include a new sustainable leisure centre, a community library, a GP surgery and 155 one and two-bedroom apartments on two sites.
Under the contract, which is for an initial 12-month period with an option to extend for an additional 12 months, OCS will provide security and concierge services on behalf of managing agent Braemar Estates. This involves supporting and welcoming the buildings’ residents, users and visitors while projecting a smart, efficient and helpful image. Other services provided under the contract are: access and egress control; control of keys; health and safety management; and the monitoring of fire panels and emergency contacting procedures.
The contract started on 11 February 2013.
