Churchill Security is pleased to announce its debut into the Infologue Top 30 rankings in the Regulated Security Sector.
This is Churchill’s first time in the rankings, and the news comes after an exciting period of growth for the division. Namely, the acquisition of AOS Security in October of last year. In making the transition to a single organisation, and in benefitting from AOS’s impressive client base and specialist experience. Churchill Security’s offering has grown significantly in a short period of time to include a complete suite of manned, mobile, covert and technical security services across a range of sectors.
According to Infologue, the estimated turnover of the regulated security sector last year was £3.8 billion, and the top 30 security businesses, of which Churchill is one, make up a total of 82.5 per cent of the entire regulated security services market.
Joel Briggs, Group Managing Director, has said of the news: “AOS’s prestige and expertise in the security services sector were key to the acquisition we made last year. We wanted to raise the profile of Churchill Security, and making our debut into the Top 30 is confirmation that we’re achieving just that.”
Darren Read, formerly Managing Director of AOS Security Ltd, now Managing Director of Churchill Security, commented: “This is a huge step forward for the business following the integration of Churchill and AOS. We are now of a size where we can compete on a national basis with true expertise across a broad range of sectors, a number of which we lead the industry in. We will continue to pursue unique and specialist contracts that require a total security solution, this will be fundamental to us leading positive change within the industry.”
