London, March 14 2011, ICTS Security Systems was recently nominated for two awards at the Honeywell Premier Customer Awards dinner held at the Wyndham Grand, London Chelsea Harbour Hotel. ICTS was awarded the “Most Prestigious Honeywell Installation for 2009 / 2010” for their intruder alarm installation at the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) in Peterborough.

RNIB is the UK’s leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million blind and partially sighted people.

The RNIB were looking for a cost effective and reliable solution to reduce their considerable manned guarding costs and decided to install a comprehensive, reliable security alarm system from ICTS.

“RNIB have been very pleased with the service received from ICTS, handled professionally by Martin Gould and the engineers right through from inception to completion”. Comments Amanda Gackowska Facilities Manager (RNIB Peterborough)

ICTS was also nominated for “Most Innovative Honeywell Installation 2009 / 2010” for its installation at the St Elizabeth’s Centre, Much Hadham in Hertfordshire.

St Elizabeth’s Centre provides positive living and learning for people with Epilepsy and other complex needs.  Rooted in Christian, gospel values, St Elizabeth’s exists to offer vulnerable people individually designed education, care and support services which provides learning, leisure, work and lifestyle choices to maximise their opportunities to ‘live life to the full’.

St Elizabeth’s required a patient monitoring system to monitor the residents at night without making them feel that they were continuously being monitored. The system installed incorporated movement detection and monitored doors to enable staff to track resident movements remotely whilst in the centre at night.

Using a ‘Forced Set’ setting (not commonly used in the UK) ICTS was able to activate the system whilst, omitting the circuits that were already open and informing the staff of the circuits that had been removed during setting. If a door is opened, or a movement detector is activated an alarm is received on the monitoring PC via a window/audio alert enabling staff members to take the appropriate action.

ICTS Systems is the technology arm of ICTS UK which, together with high-grade manpower and specialist canine services, enables a total security solutions offering to customers demanding the very highest of standards. This prestigious award reflects the importance ICTS places in delivering cutting edge solutions, through fully integrated security services. Particularly in the current economic climate, ICTS has realised the need to be more innovative in its offering, ensuring customers can see real value for their security spend. Technology will play an increasingly major part in the delivery of this future strategy.
