Yorkshire-wide security provider Select Group has announced a major new dual club and shirt sponsorship deal for the 2011 season with Keighley Cougars RLFC.
Select is further developing a cross-promotional partnership first established with Cougars earlier this year to raise the profile of both company and club. The support package also includes additional benefits for both parties on and off the field.
Cougars chairman Gary Fawcett said: “Select Group’s agreement to become the main club and front of shirt sponsor augments the support they have already been giving to us. We welcome their enhanced involvement and sponsorship.”
Select Group’s head office is in Shipley. Managing director Pete Spencer said: “We are a successful and progressive company committed to supporting deserving community-based and charitable causes across the region.
“Keighley Cougars has a rich and proud history and our backing can only help them face the challenges ahead.”
Pete Spencer has since been appointed to the board of Keighley Cougars.
