STM Group (UK) Ltd have today announced the appointment of Paul Jacomb, as its new CEO, with immediate effect. STM Group provides specialist security and cleaning services, retaining a particularly strong reputation within the transport sector.
Paul Jacomb arrives with a track record of success within the security services industry, having previously managed three of the Infologue top ten security companies over a 25 year period. More recently he has been working with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Paul said “I am delighted to be returning to the industry and, more importantly, to be joining STM, following a sabbatical in the Public Sector. With the plethora of recent M&A activity, there is an obvious shortage of mid-sized, quality-orientated, organizations, focused on delivering valued services. This is particularly true of the security industry, where the choice for customers is ever-diminishing. I believe STM is very well placed to fill this gap, and look forward to not only broadening the scope of the STM offering, but also implementing a customer-centric strategy which clearly differentiates the organization in the market place.”
STM Group (UK) Ltd are a privately-owned company, delivering security and cleaning services to a range of high-profile customers. With an annualized turnover of £30m, STM is currently focused on the transport/rail industry. Major customers include MTR Crossrail, South Western Railways, Arriva Rail, Northern Rail, and Network Rail. With main offices in London and Manchester, STM has national coverage.
