STM Group Win 3-Year Contract with British Library

STM Group (UK) Ltd has announced that it has been awarded a prestigious contract to provide security services for the St Pancras site of the British Library in London, starting on July 1st, 2023.

As the national library of the United Kingdom and one of the six legal deposit libraries in the UK and Ireland, the British Library is renowned for its vast collection of printed and digital materials. With over 170 million items, including newspapers, maps, sound recordings, patents, academic journals, and a copy of every UK domain website and blog, the library plays a crucial role in preserving knowledge.

Stm_group_uk_logoThe dedicated STM team assigned to the contract consists of a substantial number of personnel with diverse skill sets, including expertise in safeguarding cultural institutions. Their responsibilities will encompass perimeter security, access control, patrolling and response, event support, and visitor management.

The initial contract awarded to STM Group (UK) Ltd is for a period of three years, with the possibility of extensions, demonstrating the long-term commitment and confidence in the company’s ability to meet the diverse requirements of the British Library.
