Bill Muskin Appointed As BSIA Security Guarding Section Chairman

“During my chairmanship I wish to assist British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in building on its strengths so that it is viewed as the differentiator of choice for the end-user. I also wish to encourage more members to get actively involved in the Association so that we can drive the security guarding sector forward, encouraging best practice and raising standards,” commented Bill Muskin today on his appointment as the new BSIA Security Guarding Section Chairman.

Other new BSIA appointments made at their Annual General Meeting today included; BSIA section chairmen and vice-chairmen who have been elected for terms of office commencing in July 2009 as follows:

Cash & Property Marking Section

CCTV Section: Chairman – Pauline Norstrom (Dedicated Micros Ltd); Vice-chairman – Alan Lefford (RemGuard Ltd);

BSIA Company Secretary, Alan Barwell, commented: “The effectiveness of the BSIA as the representative body of the security industry is achieved not only by the work of Association staff, but also the dedication of members willing to serve on committees and as chairmen. The structure of the Association means that every section has a voice on BSIA’s Council and therefore, has a role in shaping the future of the Association’s work.
