NSI Confirms Appointment of New Chief Executive

Following the recent press release regarding Andrew White’s forthcoming retirement, the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) has announced that Jeffrey Little has been appointed the Chief Executive with effect from the 1st December. 

Brigadier Jeff Little, OBE, MBA, will joins NSI from his position as Business Development Director with Universal Engineering Company (Charlestown), a company specialising in the design and manufacture of components for safety critical environments such as defence. 

Commenting on his impending appointment as NSI Chief Executive, Jeff stated, “NSI carries a tremendous standing with fire and security professionals and is greatly respected within the end-user community. To be taking on the mantle of Chief Executive for an organisation with such a reputation is a great privilege and responsibility.” 

Jeff Little previously served a long and distinguished career with the army and was recognised with an OBE for his leadership during the Balkans War. He completed his illustrious career with the army in 2008 having attained the senior position of Director, Royal Logistic Corps.  

Continuing on his new position at the helm of NSI, Mr Little added, “This is an historic time to be joining NSI as 2011 marks its 40th anniversary. It has been 40 successful years in which the NSI has built up a remarkable reputation as the sector’s leading certification body.  It will be both a challenge and an opportunity to maintain and build on Andrew White’s successes.”
